TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF KENT

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

REMOVAL OF A PLANNING BOARD MEMBER

            PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that by Resolution of the Town Board of the Town of Kent, New York, adopted a meeting of said Board on May 16, 2023, a public hearing will be held by the Town Board at the Town Offices, 25 Sybil’s Crossing, Kent, New York , on June 6, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. o’clock, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, to consider the removal of Phil Tolmach as a member of the Town of Kent Planning Board.

            Pursuant to §4.7-4 of the Town Code and Town Law §271(9), the Town Board shall have the power, after public hearing, to remove any regular or alternate member of the Planning Board for cause or for failing to comply with the minimum meeting attendance established in the Town Code or by Town Law.

            At said public hearing all persons interested in the subject matter thereof shall have the opportunity to be heard.

            The Town Board will make every effort to assure that the hearing is accessible to persons with disabilities.  Anyone requiring special assistance and/or reasonable accommodations should contact the Town Clerk.
