NOTICE OF HEARING

AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 27

OF THE KENT TOWN CODE

                        PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that there has been introduced before the Town Board of the Town of Kent, New York, on February 21, 2023 an amendment to Kent Town Code Chapter 27, entitled “Building Administration and Construction”, which amendment will revise Chapter 27 to comply with recent amendments to the Uniform Code and Energy Code of the State of New York, 19 NYCRR 1203.  

            NOW THEREFORE, pursuant to Section 20 of the Municipal Home Rule Law, the Town Board of the Town of Kent, New York will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Amendment at the Town Offices, 25 Sybil’s Crossing, Kent, New York, on March 7, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. in the evening of that day at which time all persons interested therein shall be heard.  The Town Board will make every effort to assure that the hearing is accessible to persons with disabilities. Anyone requiring special assistance and/or reasonable accommodations should contact the Town Clerk.
