NOTICE OF HEARING

AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 77

OF THE KENT TOWN CODE

                        PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that there has been introduced before the Town Board of the Town of Kent, New York, an amendment to Kent Town Code Chapter 77, entitled “Zoning”, which amendment will revise Chapter XVII regarding “Special Permit Uses and Site Plans” to add provisions that would authorize the Building Inspector to waive site plan requirements for certain de minimis construction activities. 

            NOW THEREFORE, pursuant to Section 20 of the Municipal Home Rule Law, the Town Board of the Town of Kent, New York will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid Amendment at the Town Offices, 25 Sybil’s Crossing, Kent, New York, on April 5, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. in the evening of that day at which time all persons interested therein shall be heard.  The Town Board will make every effort to assure that the hearing is accessible to persons with disabilities. Anyone requiring special assistance and/or reasonable accommodations should contact the Town Clerk.
