February 1st until July 31st | second installment payable in any month + 1% per month interest |

School Tax Collection
Payments in full: | |
September | full payment can be made without interest |
October | full payment + 2% interest |
After October 31st | full payment + 2% interest & 7% penalty will be re-levied to County & Town Tax bill |
Installment payments: | |
September 15 | 2% service fee + 50% of full payment |
March 15 | 2% service fee + 50% of full payment payable to the Putnam County Commissioner of Finance |
Payments must be in the Tax Department on the due date, or post-marked on that day at the United States Post Office. All mailed-in payments must have a valid U.S. Postmark on or before the due date.
