The Town Supervisor is
the highest elected official in the Town of Kent government. The
Supervisor acts as the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Financial
Officer of the Town. The Supervisor is also the "chairman"
of the Town Board.
The Supervisor sets the agendas for all public meetings and workshop
sessions of the Town Board and conducts these meetings.
The Supervisor's Office is responsible for the day to day operation
of the Town, including such functions as accounting, budgeting,
payroll and personnel.
Supervisor Katherine Doherty took office on January
1st, 2008.
